Community Mission Statement
Backcountry Association’s Mission is to:
- preserve and protect the unique characteristics of the community;
- practice good stewardship of our assets and common areas;
- enforce rules and covenants;
- support programs and initiatives that reflect the desires of the Members in an effort to enhance the quality of life;
All of which serve to preserve, protect, and enhance property values in the community.
For your convenience, trash and recycling service is included in your monthly assessment. Trash service is every Tuesday and recycle is every other Tuesday. Tuesday Trash/Recycling should be put out by 7:00 am

Associa Colorado – Managing Agent for Backcountry
Associa is the managing agent for Backcountry Association, Inc. and it is our mission is to bring positive impact and meaningful value to your community. Our team of dedicated staff is here to serve you, answering your questions, managing the beautiful Sundial House, pool, and the many common areas, and engaging you with lifestyle activities that enrich the community.
Member Services include a comprehensive, onsite management of the community including:
- Waste/trash and recycle
- Snow removal of major streets and Local Service Areas – see FAQ for more information
- Management of Common Areas such as the Discovery Center, Sundial House, Pool, Amphitheater, Parks, Ponds, and vast trials
- Hosting community events and managing private rentals
